I was in a baking mood today :)

And still being in a cinnamon-y mood from yesterday I decided to make this, courtesy of Katie:  http://chocolatecoveredkatie.com/2011/12/05/deep-dish-cinnamon-roll-pie/

And in baking this I gained my inspiration for today’s post:

Chickpea’s!!!

These versatile little pulse are nutrition powerhouses. Packed with calcium, magnesium, potassium, zinc and beta-carotene; they are not lacking in the protein department either. They help support kidney function and are a digestive cleanser. Not only this, but they can be used in sweet or savoury dishes – and taste great in both!

Amazing right?
